Michele and Bob have a wonderful love story and celebrated this at the Charthouse in Redondo Beach. They wanted to share this with their guests, so they elected to have the Greatest Package. With this upgraded package, I wrote custom vows and sprinkled tid bits of their relationship into the ceremony by a relationship questionnaire they filled out. They met 37 years ago, crossed paths many times throughout the years, and finally re met through the magic of Facebook! They were such a fun couple, they wanted a casual beach feel with lots of humor. Surrounded by family, friends, and the amazing view of the ocean, they exchanged vows, laughed together, cried together, gave each other that magic kiss, and may they live happily ever after…

Joey and Kristen have been dreaming of this day for months now! Hailing all the way from Indiana, they came out here to Southern California to have their perfect wedding on the beach. Although overcast, we were still optimistic on performing the Hindu Fusion ceremony. The ceremony was complete with the major Hindu traditions such as the Vivah Homa/Mangal Fera (fire blessing/circling the fire), garland exchange (beautifully provided by Beth of Lei of Love), and parental blessing. There were some Bible readings to honor Kristen’s religion and culture, which capped off a beautiful ceremony.
During the vows, the sun shone through the clouds, as their love will shine through their lives forever.
They were married in front of 40 of their close family and friends, afterwards we took a group photo
After the ceremony, they went to the Sunset room at the Charthouse in Redondo beach and lived happily ever after.

Paulo & Flor's ceremony and reception took place at Luminarias in Monterey Park. It was a beautiful day and the weather was exceptional, not too cold and not too hot. This venue is very popular as it has two different areas were ceremonies can take place plus you can have your reception there as well. On weekends and holidays they have a brunch going on so there is wonderful smell of food in the air.
Paulo and Flor asked me to do a Catholic Lite ceremony in Spanish with the vows, I do's, and ring exchange in English. They also incorporated the mothers rose presentation.
It all came out beautifully.
Flor and Paulo thank you for choosing me as your officiant. I'm honored to have officiated your wedding and I wish you all the blessings and love in the world!
Damone and Angie had their wedding ceremony at El Matador Beach in Malibu. Even though the tide was high we were holdin' on and dear Blondie (sun) was shining behind us.
It was a beautiful afternoon! We incorporated the sand ceremony, lasso ritual, and coins into our Catholic Lite ceremony. Since they didn't have a setup they asked friends to hold the glass container while they poured the sand into it. This is a great way to include loved ones into the ceremony by giving them a "part" in your ceremony.
Damone & Angie, it was an honor to be chosen to officiate your wedding!!! Thank you so much! I wish you all the blessings in the World!

A cool and breezy but sunny day in Malibu on the beach by the Sunset Restaurant was the setting for the wedding of Thia & Chris performed by Rev. Ralph. The bride & groom presented their own personal vows, and a sand ceremony with "genuine Malibu sand" capped a love-filled afternoon.
(see their happy note below)
Dear Ralph,
Thank you so much for your kind message, and for making our day so very memorable. You performed the perfect ceremony and we will never forget how special it was. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
Many blessings to you,
Thia & Chris

Today I did 2 weddings and both Brides were named Allison. While their names were the same their weddings were so different. One was at the the beach in Redondo behind the Chart house and other at the Langham in Pasadena.
Casual to formal. But both weddings were filled with joy.

A Runaway Best Man ???
Roger married a really great couple Alex & Veronica this last Saturday at the Ports O Call Restaurant overlooking the water in San Pedro.

It was a picture perfect day. The only problem was that the best man was a no-show…… He was Alex’s best friend and Alex was concerned because this would never happen on a day like his wedding day ! So just before the wedding started, Alex was visibly distraught so Roger and him took a walk and chatted about what was important that day and the everything would turn out fine in the end. And sure enough, the Best Man made it….. late, but he made it and the day finished on a high note!!!

A Classic Wedding And A Classic Pose…….
Roger’s couple Alex & Bertha that got married on the beach of Santa Monica this last weekend had the classic wedding. A beautiful beach wedding set up by Beth at Lei Of Love with a small, intimate gathering of friends and family.

It was a perfect wedding and right at the end after Roger announced them husband and wife and that Alex may now kiss his bride, Alex suddenly takes his new bride and dips her with the kiss!! It was the perfect ending to a classic wedding with a classic pose!!

Matthew and Manuela were married at a walk-on style beach wedding in Marina Del Rey. This was a beautiful, intimate ceremony with the happy couple and their family. After we performed their wedding under a palm tree, we went directly to the sidewalk where Matthew broke the glass and the entire family (and a few friendly onlookers) shouted Mazel Tov!
They also sent a quick thank you to Michael:
“Thank you so much! Everything was amazing and you were fantastic!!!
We all had a great time!”

Nate and Marissa found Wilshire Restaurant, in Santa Monica, to have a fantastic outdoor area to be a perfect backdrop for their light-hearted and fun ceremony. After they exchanged vows and I Do’s, I scurried out of the way for their first kiss which their photographer captured from behind them, facing the audience and through a firepit!

Megan and Diana are a couple after my own heart – gamers! After a lengthy first meeting over coffee where we exchanged tales of electronic victories, I had the privileged to learn all about their life as a couple: from first meeting through proposal and beyond. Their ceremony remained true to their gamer essence. We performed an originally written Paopu Fruit Ceremony which is from the Kingdom Hearts video game series, their rings were kept in Pokémon balls and their tables were all labeled with classic games. After their ceremony, which was held at the Mitten Building in Redlands, I retold their love story, they produced an enormous fantasy-style sword which they used to cut the cake. Rock on ladies!

Richard and Aimee’s wedding, held at The 1909 in Topanga, was all about laughter and fun – would you expect anything else from a couple who both brought each other Gummy Bears on their first date? We performed a beautiful Wine Box and Love Letter ceremony under their Chuppah. After I pronounced them husband and wife, Richard took his heel straight to a glass with an awesome crush and Mazel Tov! I’m sure the rest of their reception was full of just as much energy, they had an entire candy buffet setup with delectable sugary delights!
