Easter Bunny shows up at wedding at Point Dume in Malibu Beach Wedding

Joey and Gustavo wanted to get married on Easter Sunday so i dad to bring along my bunny head.

I didn’t wear it for the ceremony only for pictures after. It made for a great laugh.

They chose Point Dume in Malibu. I was all ready to walk out onto the beach when their friend pointed to the top of the cliffs and said the wedding is up there. I was not ready for that as I was ready to be barefoot on the beach. SO I put on my dress shoes and trecked up the hill.

It was worth every gasp when i got up there. The view is amazing

They decorated the area with wild flowers and draping and the grooms walked down the gauntlet of friends to the end of the path to where I was waiting.

They did a beautiful Sand Ceremony blending their lives together.

After it was all done they had a big kiss and got tons of pictures with their family and friends.

Weddings up and down the coast from Malibu to Del Mar.

It is a good thing that I drive a Prius. I put a lot of miles on my car going from Wedding to Wedding  this weekend I had weddings all over the place and it was a blast. From a simple beach wedding to a wedding at our new wedding chapel to the beautifully designed weddings I did it all.

Beach weddings on the beach or overlooking the water, are very special to me. And when I get an opportunity to do one that makes me very happy. When I’m surrounded by trees and laughter that makes me very happy. So being the guy who does weddings in Southern California, I’m a happy guy.

Here’s some pictures from the wedding as I did this weekend  and a couple testimonials.

Fun weekend of Weddings

From the beach to the forest to the hall this weekend's weddings had it all.

The thing I love about what I do is that I get to meet all sorts of different types of couples. Their stories of how they met are all different.

The places where they get married vary as well.

The beach is a wonderful place to get married because it's a very freeing place where your toes are in the sand. In the forest being surrounded by plants you get that natural feeling. At the hall you have the opportunity to be pampered.

One is no better than the other because they all end up with the same result. Two people who love each other get to join in the formal bond so they can celebrate the rest of their happiness together.

Shari’s Return to Blogging with a Beautiful and Romantic Love Story

IMG_6675_resizedThis story begins in Iran. The Groom was born there, then moved to Italy, then moved to sunny Los Angeles, and now lives in San Antonio. His family still lives in Palos Verdes, so the groom travelled here to LA to be married on Palos Verdes Cliffs. The bride travelled all the way from Italy to tie the knot with her love. She is now moving over to San Antonio with him, this is an intercontinental love story! But it does not stop there: at the end of July, this lovely couple will be married in Milan for the family in Italy!IMG_6593_resized

The groom was a romantic at heart, so he brought two dozen red roses in a lovely vase, it was really cute! To make things different, the bride had a boquet with red roses, baby's breath, and white marshmellows!

I love these romantic marriages. No matter the distance, love conquers all!IMG_7395

What a Beautiful Bayside Beach Wedding with Great Officiant Octavio!

Juan & Aracely

Juan and Aracely

Juan & Aracely got married on 69th Place in Long Beach on the bay side. This was my second wedding at this location and frankly it’s absolutely gorgeous. You get beautiful backdrops 360 degrees.

Our very own Beth Gates did a magnificent job in setting up all the chairs, canopy, and decorations.

Juan and Aracely are the best and looked stunning. They even insisted on me joining them at their reception, which I totally would have had I not had another wedding that night.

Juan & Aracely, thank you from the bottom of my heart! I wish you all the blessings in the World!!!

Officiant Beth Prevents Ring Disaster!

Eula Mei & Jon Paul

Married on Saturday August 30th at Roessler Point Gazebo in Palos Verdes.

Eula and Jon_2

It was a beautiful day as friends and family from California and Hawaii joined the couple for their wedding ceremony. My first surprise was when the Mother of the Groom gave me a Cigar Lei straight from Hawaii. What a great honor (see orange lei on Beth Gates Officiant)! The next surprise occurred when the best man dropped the groom’s ring. As it rolled toward the cliff, I stopped it before it could roll off and be gone forever! Even with a little excitement it was a beautiful and sweet wedding and I had the honor of receiving the spirit of Aloha with the gift of my lei!

Aloha until next time!

LGBT WEDDING TESTIMONIAL FROM LITTLE CORONA DEL MAR BEACH

Jim and Bruce came in from Georgia to get married on the beach in sunny Southern California.

They were staying in orange county so I recommended they get married on Little Corona Del Mar beach in orange county.
This beach is known for its beautiful Rocky Coves.
However due to an extreme high tide and Hurricane Maria off the coast of Baja much of the beach was underwater.

So we chose the only spot of dry land left. Surrounded by their family and friends they tied the knot.
They gave me this wonderful testimonial.

Great Officiant Octavio has a Very Busy Wedding Weekend

Octavio-231Omar & Mercedes tied the Knott at beautiful Swiss Park Banquet Center in Whittier. This is one of his favorite locations because the outdoor setting is covered by trees, blocking the sun from the couple and their families and friends. As well as being a beautiful place for the ceremony and pictures of course. This happy couple decided to use the My Favorite ceremony which Octavio translated completely to Spanish for everyone to be included. They added the Mother’s Rose Presentation.

Juan & Llesica tied the knot at 72nd Place in Long Beach. This location provides such a beautiful backdrop, not only to say your vows to your significant other, but also for wonderful pictures. They chose My Favorite ceremony and added a couple of Catholic traditions such as 1st Corinthians and a wedding prayer before the closing comments. It was a bilingual ceremony. The beauty of our ceremonies is that they can be customized to you your wishes.

Octavio-23-3

Oscar & Elizabeth tied the knot at Sterling Hills Golf Club in Camarillo, CA. It was a spectacular afternoon, the sun was shining down on us and the weather couldn’t have been better. Their ceremony was catholic bilingual and they incorporated the Mother’s Rose Presentation & the lasso and coin ceremony. It all came out beautiful and they were very happy with everything.
