Sunrise wedding on the beach in Long Beach.

John and Kris decided to get Halloween started off right by getting married. So at 7 AM I met them at their home across from Mothers Beach area of Long Beach. We took care of the paperwork and then gingerly walked across the street where I drew a heart in the sand and just the two of them and a photographer captured this moment of love. As they kissed the sun rose over Marine Stadium.

We wish them a happy marriage and a happy Halloween.

A beautiful Santa Monica Beach Wedding, From Oceans away

IMG_3950Justine and Mike flew all the way across the pond to have a beautiful sunny wedding at Santa Monica beach. They starting vacationing in Santa Monica a few years ago and grew so fond of California as they fell in love. They had their closet friends and family from England in attendance, and as couples strolled by and people buried each other in the sand, they sealed their love right at the water’s edge. Justine and Mike aren’t your typical Bride and Groom, they’d be the first to tell you. So when I saw Mike in a baby blue suit and converse, and Justine in a sparkling gold wedding dress and heart-shaped sunglasses, I knew they were having the wedding that they wanted, and it was perfect.IMG_3794 IMG_3797 IMG_3798 IMG_3799 IMG_3947 IMG_3948 IMG_3949 IMG_3951 IMG_3952

Beach balls fly at this wedding ceremony at Hotel Laguna

Brad and Alisa got married at Hotel Laguna beach. This is the only place Laguna Beach that you can set up chairs and arches it was grandfathered into the hotel.

They wanted it to be fun, silly and fast ceremony and they got just that.
They both giggled through the ceremony.
Instead of the traditional Sand ceremony they opted for a plant Unity ceremony where they placed sand into a pot with a succulent plant in it.

At the end of the ceremony as they were walking back down the aisle all of their guests, who had previously been given a beach ball, pelted them as the walked through the gauntlet. It was quite a scene everyone roared  with laughter.

They truly had a ball.
