Rev. George has a sunset wedding at El Matador State Beach in Malibu

Robert and Lluvia got married at El Matador State Beach in Malibu California at Sunset. It was low tide so we had plenty of spots to pick from. The bride wore blue and part way down the trail opted for sandals instead of high heels. Robert went back up the hill to get them. Lluvia’s mom and uncle were there along with her cousin. The bride was beautiful and the groom was handsome it was obvious they were in love. El Matador is below the bluffs so we had a hike down to the beach.  We were careful going slowly and watching our footing on the way down. The views of the beach and the ocean were spectacular, only to be outdone by the bride and the groom. Parking is at a premium and I met the groom at the parking kiosk. I knew it was him by the black shoes, black pants, and white shirt, not your normal beach attire. I said are you Robert he said yes and I said I am Rev George. It was a great time and everyone was relaxed and when I said you may now kiss your bride, well Robert took me seriously.REVGEORGEBLOG2

Two couples, Four best friends get married on the beach

I've done many double weddings in my career but this one was very special.

Both couples have been friends for 25 years so it was so amazing that got to get married on the same day at the same place by the same extraordinary Officiant. Me lol.

They wanted to do a lei exchange and then a sand blending ceremony with a twist.
After they blended their sand as a couple then they blended two jars with therefore colors as friends.

The ceremony took place on Little Corona Del Mar beach and the bay could not have been more beautiful. I still can't believe I get paid to put my toes in the sand and make people happy.

“Only The Great Souls Know How To Love” by Lisa

Anthony and Cynthia are great souls, they absolute adore each other.  They meet each other Via-Skype.  Anthony in Colorado and Cynthia in California they took a very special yoga class, fell in love and Anthony moved to California to be with his soil mate Cynthia.  They were united in marriage at Palos Verde beach.  It was truly a beautiful day surrounded by family and friends.  We were all a bit worried that our big California rain storm would dampen our plans. But just as Cynthia appeared in her beautiful bridal gown the wind stopped, the sun came out to reveal the most gorgeous day ever!  All enjoyed a very heartfelt custom written ceremony including The Mothers Rose Ceremony and a most appropriate Sand Ceremony.  It was a true communion of love joy and compassion for Anthony and Cynthia. Congratulations to the happy couple, may they have a lifetime of happiness.  IMG_0199IMG_0107IMG_0165
